Last full day in Hoima
Tmr we start our safari with “Magic Safari”, they are to pick us up in the AM. Not sure when the next internet stop will be. Enjoy the pics in the previous post.
Today we toured several schools, seminary and parish and met practically everyone. Schools start this Monday so they are mostly empty except for the childern that came early.
Chris, sorry about the ‘presents’
-sigh- Tibbs is just lonely.
No spigit meat for me…linda says the beef is super strong. The chicken is good. Bananas are good. We both have been eating very light.
Dad, No bugs or snakes…at least not yet.

cool pics, the elephants look happy. must be nice to see animals outside of cages
you two dont stick out too bad. i couldnt even find you at first in that group photo.
dont worry about me and tibbs. we are taking care of each other…we’re just missing you.
this site is really cool by the way!
say hello to linda and the peeps. teach them the word “tight” for me.
love you,
chris
Very cool pics, Tori! Esp. liked the “yawning” alligators… the hippo too…
Hey, can you clarify what Linda meant by “the beef is super strong”? Or are us Americans here just eating weak beef. hehe
Have a wonderful time on the Magic Safari! -Felix
COOL!! I wanna see hippos (and not just in pix either). btw - the ‘bird’ in your photo is heron. looks similar to our great blue heron but not sure if it’s the same species.
so, are you saying there’s a lack of vegetarian food?
and if you haven’t seen snakes or bugs, you’re not looking hard enough.
have a ‘magical safari’!

p.s. - Linda, fab pix! love the one of the fish eagle, and the one of the dude in the Fila shirt, great shot. do they have Fila shoes there?
oh, and Felix, those are crocs not alligators. alligators only live in the US. sheesh, don’t you engineers know anything about animals.

No, Tim, I didn’t know the difference! Clearly I don’t know anything about animals… I once called a turkey a “duck” (well, it was far away)
But what do you expect from someone who eats “weak” beef? -felix
